Writer's Statement

This project was inspired by, and written and filmed during Covid-19 Stay at Home Quarantine.  With many people feeling the depression and  helplessness of being stuck at home, this project seemed fitting.    Those feelings coalesce in this story about a mother, unable to leave her home because she is under house arrest, feeling utterly alone and abandoned as she struggles to understand what happened to her missing daughter.   I purposely didn't want to write about a pandemic or covid-19 in particular.  Rather, I wanted to create a project that reflected the current atmosphere but presented a a more timeless drama.
