PARAMETERS
- Edited reel must come in at under THREE minutes. If you want a longer reel, charges will apply for additional work.
- Highlight reel will be edited from the 3 minute reel, using the same material. It is not an additional reel, just a slimmed down quickie version of your longer reel.
- Clips must be gathered by you and delivered to Deacon Finn Films either on a drive or via web upload (we can provide a Dropbox if needed). Clips should be in either Quicktime or MP4 format. Quicktime movies provide better quality. Please note that we CAN NOT pull clips from Youtube, Vimeo, or other online sources, or DVDs for you. (Hint: asking directors for a copy of the movie or high quality Quicktimes is the best method for obtaining your demo footage.)
- If clips are contained within a larger video (ie part of a movie), please have the time code marked down for us. We need to know EXACTLY what part of the movie you want to use for your clip.
- No more than 6 clips total. If you need more than 6 clips, we can set up an additional paid agreement and work these in. But 6 of your best clips should be entirely sufficient for an effective demo reel.
- Please provide any titles, lower-thirds, or grasphics you want added to the reel at the time of the order.
- Please allow up to THREE weeks turn around for this edit. (Depending on what's going on at the time, we will have to work it into the schedule.) So don't wait until the day before you need it!
- We allow for one free round of notes. Once the reel is edited you can look at it and request changes. Make sure you note ALL YOUR CHANGES at this time. Additional reedits may incur charges.
- Final product will be delivered electronically. You will have one month from the time of upload to download it to your personal drives. Please download it and make copies for yourself immediately as we may purge our files from time to time and not be able to retrive your reel if you misplace it ,or fail to download it in designated period of time.
